Waffles I

I was soooo tired of my waffles being spongy, and this recipe was just what I was looking for. Easy, crispy, lots of flavor. I separated the egg whites and folded them into the batter before pouring them into my waffle iron--EXCELLENT.

Pork Butt Roast with Vegetables

The meat was juicy and literally was falling off of the bone. I used minced garlic instead of garlic powder and used half vegetable broth, half water instead. It was a family favorite!!!

Sirloin Steak with Garlic Butter

Delicious! The only thing I would do differently is use less butter to give it a thicker consistency, about a third of a cup instead of half of a cup. When I made it the second time I did that and it turned out great. Much better than when I used the original recipe.

French Toast I

French toast is about the only breakfast food my husband can actually cook without burning down the house. But after I used this new recipe on him, he won't dare enter the kitchen to make his version anymore! This recipe is easy, quick and delicious.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

I'm not that big of a fan for pumpkin pie but I decided to try this recipe for Thanksgiving anyway. It was delicious. I used canned pumpkin and it was still great. I will definately use this recipe again.

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Great recipe! I didn't use the soup to spread over the top, instead I used the juice from the canned tomatoes. It was wonderful. The whole family enjoyed them.

Make Ahead Manicotti

was very easy and quick to make, but was very thick, gooey and bland. When salt was added, it was too much and the dish was pretty much ruined from the beginning. Next time I'll use a different recipe instead of going the easy route.

Baked Ziti II

Though this recipe is perfect the way it is, you can also brown a pound of ground beef with a chopped onion, and mix it with the sauce, instead of having simply marinara sauce. Therefore, the ziti mixture is the same as listed in the original recipe EXCEPT WITHOUT sauce and top it with the mixture of ground beef and the 32 oz. of sauce. Just as delicious, and it brings some thickness to the dish!
