I used leftover turkey in this and skipped having to cook the chicken as the recipe calls for. I used canned broth and also added an extra cup of rice. Easy and very good! I plan on making this often with lefover turkey or chicken.

Venison Tenderloin Bites

I don't usually like deer, but my husband wanted me to cook some tenderloins and backstraps. I tried this recipe tonight (substituted ritz crackers and italian seasoning instead of bread crumbs which I did not have) and oh my gosh... tasted just like steak! I actually surprised my husband by having seconds! Very good! Easy to make too!

Easy Ice Cream Cake

Easy to make and looks like you spent hours on those perfect layers! My daughter thinks this is better than the DQ cakes. My husband wouldn't eat it though once he found out it was made from ice cream sandwiches. So.. don't share the recipe with anyone until they've tried it!

Ranch Dressing II

Best Ranch dressing ever! I like it with a bit less dill, but this recipe has become one of my favorites. Even my husband who rarely eats salad will have seconds now!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

The absolute best chicken and dumplings ever! My family prefers fluffy dumplings to the noodle-like dumplings.. so instead of the refrigerated biscuits I use a Bisquick mix following the package instructions but cooking an extra 5 to 10 minutes. Delicious!

Chocolate Coconut Cake

The recipe is too much for a 9X13 pan.. I had the final topping running all down the outside of the pan. I recommend cutting down the middle and bottom layer ingredients by about 1/4th each. I followed the directions exactly and found this cake good, but way too sweet. The bottom layer was mushy. I won't be using this recipe again. Maybe someone can tweak it enough to make it work better?

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

I made this yesterday for a fish fry. Everyone loved it! Several commented that it tastes just like KFC coleslaw! Easy and delicious!

Savory Party Bread

I made this for a New Years Eve party and it was quickly gobbled up. Very easy to make as well. I do think it needed a little something else. Might try adding some bacon next time. A keeper!
