Turkey Lettuce Wraps with Shiitake Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
LOVE LOVE LOVE! Fun, easy to make, and oh so yummy! Didnt have green onion so I used recipe white onion and sauteed with turkey. I grated the ginger root and only needed about 1-2 teaspoons. I love the toppings - the carrots, sprouts , and peanuts are awesome on these wraps! I also used hoison sauce as a topping. This is a recipe my husband and I LOVED!

Tangy Pineapple Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2007
My husband and I love this recipe! We used 2 15.5 oz cans of pineapple chunks and thought that worked well. we will be making this recipe a lot! I cant wait to share it with friends!!! We used Zataran's Carribean rice instead of regular white rice and it added even more flavor.

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
My husband and I like our steaks medium well so it took a little longer than the recipe said but it was still perfect! I doubled the sauce - added garlic and brown sugar and tossed in some onions and mushrooms I had left over from dinner the other night. This will be my go-to steak recipe!

Easy Asian Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2006
I also added a bit of honey and just loved it! The water chestnuts were a little dry so I think I will let them cook in the juices and not on top. The flavor was wonderful and even the left over chicken was great

Banana Pancakes I

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2012
Delicious and easy. I had the heat turned up to high so they were starting to burn on the outside before the inside was done but that is my own fault. I cant wait to make them again!

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
I modified this recipe to be for just me and my husband - I used half the amt of noodles, tuna, onions, and cheese. I used the full amt of peas and mushrooms. I used 1 can of soup but added a scoop of sour cream and a big splash of milk. I didnt have chips for the top so I used crush corn flakes. Turned out wonderful and my husband and I both loved it! We actually had enough to left overs too.

Breakfast Casserole II

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
I make this casserole about once a month for coworkers or guests and everyone always loves it!. I mix everything in a bowl the night before and leave out the tater tots. Then in the morning I add the tots and bake it. Depending on who is eating it, I sometimes add onions and or peppers, sometiems I cut it in half, but its always a big hit.

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2013
No question about it - this is my favorite meatloaf recipe! I used a meatloaf pan so all of the grease drained nicely. I also saved some of the onions and made a topping with them adding some ketchup, brown sugar, chili sauce

I used 4 chops, used a 15 oz can of peaches, took others advice and added garlic and soy sauce and some orange juice. Browned in skillet then baked in oven 300 degrees for 1 hour. Will be making again for sure! We served it over medium egg noodles and there was plenty of sauce. Great dinner!!!

Grilled Shrimp Po' Boy Sandwich with Farmers Market Relish

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2011
My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe. I took away one of the 5 stars because I thought it was tough to make and would be very hard to time everything just right if you were making it by yourself. Husband was grilling everything outside while I didnt everything inside which helped out tons. We loved the combination of flavors - the grilled veggies with the ranch twist and bbq sauce was great. We normally fry shrimp for po boys but this grilled shrimp recipe will be our summer po boy go to recipe. We just used lettuce since we didnt have any argula and it was still good and I didnt have ranch seasonging so I used a bit of ranch dressing. Give a try if you like shrimp po boys! Oh, and we served it with some grilled pineapple to finish off the meal.

The Best Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2009
I followed this recipe to the T and I dont think I will be making them again. I love stuffed mushrooms and have 4 or 5 different recipes I love but I havent found a seafood stuff mushroom recipe I like yet. I thought Id try this one but I didnt enjoy the canned shrimp and canned crab. I did like the cream cheese and how creamy they were, I also enjoyed the bread crumbs on top, but I will not be keeping this recipe.

Unbelievably Awesome Barbeque Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2007
I make this all the time but leave off the onions. The chicken in the seasame oil is really great! Using a higher quality darker seasame oil (vs a lighter cheap one) makes a big difference in the taste of the chicken.

Grilled Sweet Potatoes with Apples

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2011
I 'followed' the recipe using 2 sweet potatoes and 1 apple but I only spilt my mixture into 2 foil packs instead 4. We grilled them for about 20 minutes (same time it took to grill our chicken) and they were perfect! I took the suggestion from another reviewer and added dried cranberries - yum! I will definately make these again - especially for my vegetarian mother in law and vegan sister in law.

Grilled Corn in Husks

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2011
This is how I always grill my corn and friends always love it when I make it for them. When I make it for my husband and I - I make his a little different by using barely any butter and adding chili powder to the parsley and parmesan. I think its the Parm that makes this so perfect. Making it again this week for sure!!!
