I consider my oven to be a "hot oven." That is why I am so surprised that I baked this recipe for an hour and 20 minutes, and it still didn't set up. I would have burned the top if I had cooked it more. I did not drain the 2 cans of regular corn before adding them. Should I have done that? Help!!

Grandma Wright's No Bakes

Thank you for your pinpoint perfect directions. I did bring the mixture to a full boil just before timing, and I did use quick cook oats. I made these for the first time last week, and my family and all my drop-by guests loved them. Very easy to make. A keeper!

Peanut Butter Pie IX

My family loved this! So did all the high schoolers and college students who dropped by my house due to Thanksgiving break last week. I used a 9x13 pan, and it was so easy to pop out of the freezer when guests would arrive. There's plenty to go around, too. I used the 28 ounce jar of peanut butter, and the pie tasted fine without the garnish. Will make this again!

Ruby Red Layered Salad

Tart, sweet, fruity, refreshing, beautiful, generous amount--what else could I want from a congealed salad? It did take a while for the top layer to "partially set," but it was worth it. Our seventeen-year-old is not fond of cranberries, but my husband and I love this stuff. Will make this salad for future holidays and for other times--great for feeding a crowd.

Tarragon Chicken Casserole

My third chicken dish from allrecipes.com in seven days and another hit. This was very easy to make. This dish plus a salad makes a simple meal to put on the table. Will make this again.

Frosted Banana Bars

These are excellent. This comes out more like cake rather than bars. It makes a huge amount. The Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting from this web-site is delicious with it.

Chicken Stroganoff I

Great recipe! I only needed one cup of flour for the coating. I did not top this dish with the green onions. I served it over ziti, and the guys in my house loved it. Will make this again.

Artichoke Chicken

My teenage son and husband loved this! I threw in a few sliced fresh mushrooms and some white wine just to use those ingredients up. Will definitely make this easy and tasty recipe again.

Blue Cranberry Sauce

I used frozen blueberries for this. I thought the flavor was very refreshing, and the color was beautiful. It was fun listening to the cranberries burst as I made this easy dish. But I won't be keeping the recipe because my husband did not like the spices. He proved exactly how much of a whole-berry-sauce-in-the-can guy he is.
