Baked Ziti I

Great recipe but definitely cover with tin foil before cooking. I prefer a ricotta/sour cream combo. VEGETARIANS - substitute a package of frozen chopped spinach for the beef. So so good.

I love this recipe. Great for beginners. Bagged coleslaw mix and a food processor makes this a great last minute meal. I use veggie pork for a delicious and easy vegetarian dish.

Chewy Caramel

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
Amazing chewy caramels. I only gave 4 stars because the temperature was off (boil to 248-252 for 2 minutes) and they were much thinner than expected. For standard size caramels, use an 8x8 dish.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
These really do look like big fat chewy bakery style cookies. Perfectly cooked - chewy and melt in your mouth. Even better with white chocolate chips. Definitely a keeper recipe!

Pumpkin Apple Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
I did some trial and error with this delicious recipe and found this was the best way: 1.5 cups white sugar and .5 cup packed brown sugar instead of the 2 cups white sugar; .25 cup vegetable oil and .25 cup applesauce instead of .5 cup oil (perfect since apples are already included); add 1 tsp vanilla. For the streusel topping I used 1 tbsp flour, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 1 tbsp butter - prepared the same as in recipe. My friends at work have already asked me to make them again. A new fall favorite.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2007
Followed the recipe to a tee but still came out with a spongy consistency. Tasted good, like any other choc chip cookie recipe I've tried.
