Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2004
I have mixed feelings with this recipe. It was easy to prepare and not to time consuming and the chicken was juicy and tender. I thought there was definitely something missing regarding the taste though. It wasn't as flavorful as other chicken marsalas I've had. I do have to say I heated it up the next day for lunch with a lot of parmasean cheese and it was much better.

Pork Tenderloin with Dijon Marsala Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2004
This recipe was soooo delicious!! Much better than any marsala sauce I've had at restaurants. I did not use shallots, but sauteed mushrooms instead. Perfect!

This recipe is very nice and tasty! Almost like a mild chicken piccata. Very moist and simple to make!

Dinah's Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2005
These mushrooms were tasty, but too much butter. Next time I will make them I will cut the butter at least in half.

I loved this! I made it crustless for less carbs and it came out beautiful. Very tasty!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2007
This wasn't the first time I've made a lasagne, but it was certainly the best. I followed the recipe exactly and it came out perfect. I may omit the salt from the ricotta next time, that would be my only change. I will use this sauce recipe for my other baked macaroni dishes and want to try it on stand alone speghetti as well!

Blueberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
Absolutely Delish! Very sweet, tasty and moist! I did add more blueberries than recommended and had to cook it probably about 75 minutes as opposed to an hour! Super and Easy, great!

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
Did not like this at all. Found the chicken to be dry, bacon definitely needs to be cooked somewhat before baking as was raw when chicken was done. I love garlic, but didn't find it suiting in this recipe at all. Very bland. Will not make again, unfortunetly.

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
Mixed feelings on this recipe. The chicken was very tender, but I would definitely cut back on the cream cheese as others have recommended. Cooking time needs to be at least 40 minutes otherwise the chicken is still a bit pink inside. The breadcrumb batter was delicious and perfect for any type of filling.

A Simply Perfect Roast Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
This was my first turkey and it was delicious! It looked just like the picture. Everyone stated it was the best turkey they ever ate and boy was it juicy. I basted it about every 45 mins. to an hour. I had a 16 lb. turkey and did stuff it, took about 4.5 hours. I didn't use the whole stick of butter nor as much turkey stock as it called for as the drippings kept it moist.

Make-Ahead Turkey Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
Great Gravy! I cooked this the Saturday before Thanksgiving and froze it until Weds. I followed recipe as directed, but used 2 very large turkey wings, it came out perfect. When unfreezing I put in the crock pot on low for a few hours. It will appear lumpy, but a quick wisk will fix that immediately. Taste was just like out of a jar/packet, but better. Nothing fancy-very simple, just great gravy and it got rave reviews. Worth the time if you're poking around the house.

Stuffed Mushrooms IV

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
Love These! Followed recipe exactly, but did substitute the sausage for the ground beef. Delish! I doubled the recipe and even forgot to add the cream to the first batch and it was still awesome. The cream pretty much holds the stuffing together. Great kick, very tasty, quick and everyone loved them. I had to run and grab my portion otherwise I would not have gotten any!
