Crispy Chocolate Log

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2008
Awesome! I cut up some toffee bars into bite-size pieces and added those on top of the chocolate/butterscotch layer. I doubled the recipe and there were STILL none left over after a potluck. I'll never make the ordinary rice crispy treats again.

Cajun Seafood Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
I made this for an engagement party. Since I am on a budget and was feeding a lot of people, I didn't add scallops and instead added shredded chicken and andouille sausage. I went easy on the spice due to other reviews and a couple people still commented that it was pretty spicy. I personally thought it was PERFECT. Just keep tasting it until it seems right. I also needed to add liquid, so I added some half and half. Overall, everyone loved it!

Banoffee

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
On top of the crust, I added a layer of melted chocolate that I made with 2 squares of bittersweet chocolate (I didn't want to add too much more sweetness). It was a GREAT addition. Definitely top the pie with a little ground coffee and cinnamon. Delish!

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2007
I absolutely LOVE cilantro, but this wasn't my favorite sauce as a dip. However, it was great in a chicken wrap the next day.

4H Banana Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2006
Best banana bread I'VE had! I used half brown sugar instead of all white sugar, added about a tsp of vanilla, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, and used half and half instead of milk. The bread was very moist and delicious!

Shrimp and Mushroom Linguini with Creamy Cheese Herb Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2006
Definitely a keeper. I followed some other suggestions by doubling the garlic and the cream cheese and adding 1/4 marsala wine. I didn't quite add all of the water and added some parmesean cheese to thicken it up. I used mini portobellos and extra shrimp and it was delicious! Highly recommended!

Holiday Dressing

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2005
SO GOOD! Definitely recommend chopping up 1 granny smith apple and adding a few handfuls of dried cranberries although I know it would've tasted great without as well but it adds some color and just a little more sweetness. Only bad thing: there were no leftovers.

Cranberry, Sausage and Apple Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2004
Excellent. Make sure and cut the bread cubes up pretty small, makes for a better texture. Tastes great nonetheless. I've made it using turkey sausage and just regular ground turkey and I almost like the ground turkey better.
