Bourbon Pecan Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2013
Wow is all I can say! I made this last night and it was amazing. Definitely 'company worthy'. I did decrease the butter in the sauce, and the sauce really made this dish! I struggled clarifying my butter but it didn't seem to matter. Deliciousness!

Lemon Chewy Crisps

Wonderful recipe. I substituted orange for the lemon and added extra zest & juice. Can't wait to try with lemon too. Amazing!

Quick Chicken Peanut Mole with Cilantro Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2010
Wonderful mole. I added extra chili powder (some chipolte too), extra dark cocoa, brown sugar (to sweeten it up a bit) and some cornstarch to thicken it. Excellent!

Mama's Italian Wedding Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2009
This is a wonderful soup. I used chicken sausage instead of ground beef and the flavors were amazing. One of my favorite soups to make now. Those I've served it to love it as well.

Avocado Feta Salsa

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2008
Fixed this over the weekend for a camping group. As others suggested, I used fresh cilantro because that's what I had on hand. Added freshly ground black pepper too. I never got to taste it because it was gone so quickly. Everybody asked me for the recipe. Will definitely make again and again. Thanks for a great recipe.

Fry Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
I'm from Utah and have fixed this sauce for many years. I've always added a tsp or two of fresh lemon juice and some worcestershire sauce. Add a nice extra zing to it! People in the rest of the country just don't know what they're missing!

This is a wonderful hearty soup. The roasted slivered almonds are a nice touch and add lots to this recipe!

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2007
I've made this several times and it never disappoints. I use whole wheat club cracker crumbs instead of bread crumbs and add a bit more celery and garlic. Very yummy! Thanks for sharing.

Sweet and Sour Meatloaf

Great meatloaf. Very moist. I did cut back on the sugar a bit and used fresh sweet onion. Also used butter cracker crumbs. Will definitely make again!

Oven Fries

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2007
These were wonderful. I had been craving some fries and know how bad the traditional ones are. I used a roasted garlic oil (had intended to use EVOO - extra virgin olive oil) and added a large clove of pressed garlic and some black pepper. Will certainly make again!

Irish Cream Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2006
This cake was wonderful. I've made a cake similar to this using coconut & cream of coconut. I had some Bailey's and thought this would be perfect. I was not disappointed. Wonderful!! Thank you for sharing.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2006
Probably my favorite recipe I've found here on Allrecipes.com. I make this often. Lately I've added a couple of tablespoons of seasoned bread crumbs on top of the filets. They brown up nicely. Yummmm!!

Sweet Green Bean Bundles

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2004
I served these today for my Thanksgiving dinner. What a hit! I used fresh beans and steamed them for about 5 minutes and let them cool. The bacon was lean and I only used 1/2 pound. I made this ahead of time and refrigerated it until it was time to bake it. I removed the foil about 15 minutes before it was done. A nice presentation. My son who doesn't even like green beans - had seconds!
