Corn Dip II

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2005
First of all, this makes A LOT of dip! Secondly, it was a little bland. I really liked the flavors that are put together here, but I think it could use a touch of chili powder and maybe a little enchilada sauce...? Overall it's not bad, but needs a little kick.

Hot Jezebel

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2005
I am not a fan of horseradish, but I absolutely love the sweet/spiciness of this! It's very creamy, so you'll need a firm/crisp cracker to go with it.

Cheese Filled Triangles

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2005
These were very tasty, but I just couldn't get them to look pretty. I'm not great with pastry, I guess. I would recommend practicing with the phyllo dough to get the hang of it but even if you can't quite get them to look right, they will taste just fine!

Parmesan Broccoli Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2005
I didn't have any problems with putting these together and they were a big hit at my party! I had a few left over and put them in the fridge overnight. They were just as good as a snack the next day! mmm

Glazed Almond Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2005
OK- only make this cake if you want everyone that eats it to ask you for the recipe! It is so wonderful that we almost ate it before we got to serve it! It is equally as good with as without the glaze (although the glaze adds a special sweet spot). Try it - you'll love it!

Apple Pie Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2005
Yummy, yummy! This is really easy and fun to make! The crust is a breeze if you've got a pastry blender - and if you don't, use a fork. The only thing I would add to this is a couple pats of butter over the apples before adding the top crust, but that's just because I love butter. It doesn't "need" it - it's great just the way it is!

Dilly Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2005
This was great! I did add more dill - I love dill! It was a tad too sweet and I wonder if it's because I used "vanilla yogurt" instead of "plain yougurt". I just couldn't find plain at the store!

Bodacious Broccoli Salad

I really enjoyed this recipe, but I love onions. If you don't, you won't like this.

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: May 8, 2005
I must be one of the very few that don't like this. To me, it just wasn't very good. It was way too sweet and the sweetness didn't blend well with the earthy flavor of the fresh mushrooms.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2005
VERY quick and VERY tasty. The kids even liked it since the tilapia isn't overly "fishy" and they love cheese. I did use fresh basil and 1 clove of garlic, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly.

Lemon Glazed Date Sticks

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2005
These were gone in a flash! I don't love dates, so I wasn't sure I'd like these, but they were so good that we couldn't stop eating them!

Arti-Cheesy Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2005
We really love this recipe, but I don't use the bacon and I cut down on the cream. The flavors of all the ingredients really go together well and as long as I chop the artichokes, the kids even love it!

Bow Tie Tuna Florentine

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2005
We love this dish! The creamy pesto and the mushrooms with the tuna was an unexpected delight. I agree with other posters about using only 2 cans of tuna, but otherwise, I like this recipe as is.

Spinach Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2005
We used this as a side dish and thought it was fabulous! I did add an extra layer of Phyllo in the middle and only 1/2 cup of butter, but otherwise followed the recipe as it's written. The spinach mixture would be great to use with pasta too!

This was absolutely delicious! The taste was as good as any restaurant sandwich and my family begged me to make more!
