Country Apple Dumplings

Normally this isn't my type of dessert... I'm a chocolate girl. Which is why I was so pleasantly surprised by these. I served them warm with vanilla ice cream and they were a hit.

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

If you like your red sauces on the sweet side as I do, this recipe is for you! The cayenne and black peppers also add the perfect amount of spice to make this truly exquisite.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Champagne Shrimp and Pasta

I've made this several times, sans mushrooms, and it is delicious every time. This is probably my all-time favorite meal. If you like shrimp you will love this recipe.

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

This was a great recipe. I am not a fan of sausage but the peppers and onions really toned down the taste and the flavors blended together perfectly. This recipe is a keeper.

Rolled Flank Steak

What a great dish! The flavors combine perfectly and the steak just melts in your mouth. I will definitely be making this again, it was a huge hit with my entire family.

Cracker Pork Chops

Okay so I didn't have Saltines but I did have Captain Crunch cereal. Unbelievable! I can't believe how the sweetness of the cereal flavors the pork perfectly. Mangia bene!

Braised Chicken Breasts in Tasty Mirepoix Ragout

Excellent. Because I hadn't read any reviews before I tried this recipe I did add salt to the sauce and it was on the salty side, but definitely not overpowering. Instead of cooking the chicken before I made the sauce, I cooked the chicken while the sauce was simmering and ended up saving some time overall. The sauce didn't quite thicken as much as I expected so I added a little flour paste which gave it more of a gravy-like consistency. The recipe was a great hit and I can't wait to make it again.
