Well, I love to spend my free time in the kitchen, making anything! Escpecially cookies for my family! And they never last long. I am always on the lookout for easy, simple delisous cookies.
My favorite things to cook
Well, like I said, cookies, but also I like to combine recipes and try new things. Especially when I have limited ingredients and time, that is always the fun part.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Just my sister and I getting togeather at family gatherings and bringing what new dish our families like at home.
My cooking triumphs
I found a simple, easy and delious recipe for chicken cordon bleu that even my oldest son can help me make!
My cooking tragedies
I burnt my son's 8th birthday cake, and his strawberry frosting was runny. He will NEVER let me live that down..even though my cooking has gotten ALOT better! LOL

Chocolate Dipped Orange Biscotti
Disappointed to say the least. I made this to the "T" and it was burnt tasting. I even shortend the 2nd baking time. The only thing that made it passable was that I had to dunk it in my coffee, I know its a coffee cookie, but I like "to go" breakfast cookies, and this I will most def pass on--sorry!

Five Ingredient Ice Cream
AWESOME!! AWESOME!! My 5yr old has asked for this eversince I made it the first time. I crushed up mini oreos and added it to the cream mixture and we ate the cream mixture before it was frozen and then when it froze up, ate it right out of the bowl!! I'm going to have so much fun finding different flavors!!

Mom's Zucchini Bread
Ok, the 2 stars are my fault-for whatever reason this bread turned out flat and heavy. I added Splenda instead of sugar and applesause instead of veg. oil, and added pumpkin spice. It smelled really good, but really lacked in taste, I will try again, and try some of the other suggestions, but I won't give up!!
