Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2015
Delicious and easy! Followed the recipe exactly and the pancakes were delicious. Not too sweet at all, and nice and fluffy! I yielded 6 large pancakes and still have leftovers. I served mine with cookie butter and some fruit and it was a HUGE hit! I'm definitely keeping this recipe; I may add 1 tsp of vanilla extract next time to see if it adds anything, but other than that this is a keeper!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2015
This recipe was OK. The taste was good, but I did not care for the consistency of this dough. I followed the instructions and only changed the amount of sugar (I always 1/2 the amount) and I did not use as much flour because by the time I had added 2 cups, I could barely stir the dough because it was so stiff! I'm not sure if this is due to the cold weather outside or what, but I decided to try and make them with slightly more than 2 cups. The cookies hardly flattened in the oven from the spoonfuls I dropped and they ended up being very small in diameter and about an inch thick! Thankfully my Dad and boyfriend will virtually eat anything as long as it tastes decent, but I really wish the consistency would have been different!

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2014
Delicious! The only thing I altered in this recipe is that I cut the sugar in half and they still came out beautifully! This is the first recipe of blondies that I have actually liked, and my family and boyfriend devoured them. I have already made 2 batches in less than 24-hours! Definitely a keeper.

Fabulous Fudge Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: May 30, 2014
The cake itself was delicious and I took people's advice and substituted one cup of coffee for the one cup of water. The only "complaint" I have is that the frosting was extremely sweet, but the cake itself will soon be a staple and go-to chocolate cake recipe in my house!

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2014
Made these for my boyfriend and he loved them! When he goes home to school, I always want to send him with something sweet to get him through the week. I was short on time and these were PERFECT. So easy to make, 4 ingredients, and they tasted good too. CHANGES I MADE: Instead of 1 cup of butter, I used a little more than 1/2 a cup. Seemed like way too much butter to me and my bars came out great. Still held together and they weren't overly-rich. I think the next time I make it though, I'm going to use natural peanut butter.
