Best Darn Minestrone Soup Around

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2015
Really Delicious amazing soup! I halved the recipe since I'm only feeding three, & only used 1 cup of cream & 1 TBSP butter to cut down the fat. Still came out plenty creamy and full of flavor.(Also threw in a handful of chopped kale). Yummy!....will be making this again soon! Thanks for sharing!

Potato Chowder Soup I

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2014
I added a cube of chicken bouillon to water while veggies were simmering. In the end it tasted very bland to me, but with adding crumbled bacon, a couple pinches of dried rosemary, a dash of creole seasoning it was Delicious! The recipe has a good base but definitely needed some key flavor components added. The good thing is that you can be creative & add what you like to make it taste good.

Zucchini Herb Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
SOOO good (after adding more seasoning)! Followed recipe to a tee but took another reviewer's advice and added Creole seasoning after I discovered it was a little bland. Absolutely delicious with Creole seasoning! Even my meat eater hubby liked it. A good base recipe, I make it regularly but usually add seasonal veggies. Good with red bell pepper and diced yellow squash too!

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
My favorite squash soup recipe! Followed the recipe and really liked it! Modified later by adding 1/4 tsp nutmeg and substituting 1/4 cup half and half for the cream cheese and loved it even more! Easier to just roast the squash whole then cut in half & scrape out insides rather than peeling & cubing. I make this all the time in the fall & winter months, it's a hearty soup that tastes great! Thanks for sharing!

London Broil for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
Really good! Added 1/2 envelope onion soup mix with mushroom soup. cooked for 8 hrs and meat fell apart. Sauce was a little thin for gravy so I had to whisk together equal parts (2 TBSP) flour and cold water into a paste then stir into liquid. It made the gravy perfect! Great flavor, served w/ mashed potatoes and peas as suggested for a great comfort meal. The boys in my house loved it.
