Chocolate Orange Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2004
Yummy!! Made them for my work's Christmas party, and they disappeared in minutes! Due to lack of time, I didn't separate the dough (combined the orange zest and chocolate together in dough), but they were still very good!

Cranberry Apple Sauce I

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2004
Loved this recipe! I like my cranberries not to sweet, still on the tart side, so the apple juice concentrate was enough sweetener (didn't add sugar). Plus, the juice is a healthier natural sweetener instead of refined sugar. Definitely a keeper!

Hot Spiced Cider

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2004
This is a wonderful and simple cider recipe - I served this at Thanksgiving, and everyone loved it! I cooked it in my crockpot (instead of the coffee maker) and added 3-4 orange slices.

Cranberry Nut Bread I

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2004
This was a big hit at Thanksgiving! My husband is allergic to gluten (in wheat), so I substituted brown rice flour and 1-1/2 teaspoons of xanthan gum for the wheat flour, and it was still very yummy! Be sure to make two loaves - my only loaf disappeared from the table within minutes!

A Simply Perfect Roast Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2004
I used this recipe for my first Thanksgiving as a newlywed hosting my in-laws! I substituted vegetable shortening for butter (husband is allergic to dairy), and the turkey came out perfect and golden brown! Even my mother-in-law was impressed! : )
