Gravy Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2004
Great recipe. Easy to make and I could not believe how tender the chops turned out. I did not have "Cream of Mushroom" soup so I used "Cream of Celery" and it was still very good and made a wonderful gravy.

Allana's Excellent Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2004
I could not have picked a better day to make this recipe as the weather outside was just begging for homemade soup. It was delicious and I followed the recipe to the letter with the exception of that I added about eight "baby carrots", finely chopped, to give it a little color.

Broccoli Cheese Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2004
This got rave reviews from the fam even though I did not have enough ingredients. Very easy to make and a nice break from steamed broccoli, which we seem to eat at least two or three times a week.

Egg Salad III

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2004
I was fortunate enough to have spent four days in Augusta at the Masters recently and lived off of the egg salad sandwiches they serve. I have been searching for a recipe similar ever since. This is not what I have been looking for but it is very, very good. I love black pepper more than most...as well as green olives, but unless you really pour on the pepper in your other dishes, you may want to ease back a shade. I will definitely make this again.

Blackened Tuna

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2004
Overall, I liked this recipe and will try it again. (I would give it three and a half stars if we had that choice.) Our steaks turned our quite dry and that may be because they were fairly large or I should have cooked them more slowly. My wife loved it and would give it at least a four star rating. I do love tuna and thought about, for the next time, cubing the steaks into 1 inch squares and sautéing them in the mixture for a bit to make up for the extra dryness that comes with cutting up a piece of meat.

Pan-Seared Tuna with Olive-Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2004
My wife really loved this recipe. (I am not sure if she was just being sweet because I cooked two recipes from here two nights in a row.) The sauce was excellent but if I make this again, I will reduce the time on the tuna a bit.

Scallop Scampi

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2004
Wonderful recipe! This is my first attempt at making something from my new favorite website. Though I did not have the Romano cheese, I used Parmasean and was happy with the substitution. My only “negative” is that I was not prepared for the texture. It was a bit more liquidity than I anticipated but this was quickly remedied by adding a bit more cheese! Bobby “D”
