Boneless Garlic and Rosemary Rubbed Prime Rib with Red Wine Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2013
I was worried about this very expensive 5 pounds of meat. I had to make sure to cook it properly. This recipe made that easy and the meat was so moist.

Easy Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
These are amazingly delicious!!! The only thing I did different was add a 1/2 cup of applesauce. My husband asked me if I had the ingredients to make another batch because he doesn't think these will last the next 24 hours with guest coming over! Enjoy!

YUMMY!! I followed the directions exactly the first time I tried this recipe. It was awesome! The second time I added some grape tomatoes becuase they were just sitting the fridge. This was a GREAT addition. PS...I never liked brussel sprouts until this recipe! Thanks!

Pinto Bean/Ham Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
This soup turned out wonderful on a cold Sunday!! I did not have any ham, so I used left over Turkey Breast and the one Turkey leg from the freezer. I also added some cumin and thyme to keep in line with the turkey seasoning. (Originally I gave it 4 stars, but my Husband demanded I give it 5) This was great, filling and healthy. Thanks!!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2007
Hmm...I am very particular with chicken. If it is not cooked all the way through I will not touch it...usually my chicken is dry. With that said this was the BEST baked chicken I have ever made. I used small red potatoes on the bottum of the cooker instead of foil. 3/4 cup of water. The spices I used were Olive Oil, Garlic Powder, Poultry Seasoning, and Red Pepper Flakes. LOTS!!! DO not be shy. I did the 1 hour on high and then 7 hours on low and 1 hour on warm. Made gravy with drippings. Try it, you might like it!!

Garlicky Summer Squash and Fresh Corn

I use this method to make a spinach dish. Increase the broth of choice to 1 cup and steam the spinach at the very end. Great way to get finicky eaters their veggies.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2006
I love this soup. I made a few variations which made the flavor last in your mouth for minutes after. Instead of parsley, I added Thyme and Cummin to taste (approx. 1 tablespoon each). I then pureed it partially to create more of a chowder than a soup. I love the fall!!
