Indian Fish Curry

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2012
This dish was absolutely wonderful! I used catfish nuggets because that was the only white fish I had on hand. I also used ground ginger instead of the ginger root and only a 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper because I don't like it so spicy. It came out amazing. I had to go back for seconds! I served with brown rice and spinach. Thanks for the recipe!

Oven Baked Jambalaya

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
I've made this recipe several times and each time it comes out better. I adjust the ingredients depending on my guests (some don't like spicy, so I tone it down). I also add kiebalsa sausage, shrimp and chicken. It is very good for parties.

Cake Mixes from Scratch and Variations

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
I made two cakes from scratch from your recipe and they both came out very dry. Next time I will add cream cheese to the mixture to give it the moisture it needs. I will try again.

I tried this recipe and me and my family loved it! I did not add as much ceyenne pepper because we do not like it spicy. Great recipe. I made the Naan bread to go with this recipe. This was so delicious!

Lemon Cheese Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2005
I tried this recipe twice. The first time I used banana instant pudding (It was the only pudding in the cupboard)and it turned out fantastic. I used lemon cake mix instead of the yellow cake mix. My friends loved it. The second time I used cheesecake instant pudding with lemon cake mix. Wow! My family loves it. It's been added to the family favorites list.

I prepared the string beans the day before thanksgiving. After they finished simmering for 4 hours, I put in the freezer overnight. They are really good! The ham hocks seasoned the beans really good!

Mini Sweet Potato Pies

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2004
I tried this recipe for the first time on 11/23/04. I wanted to try it before Thanksgiving and if it turned out right, I would have this instead of sweet potatoe pie. I really like it! It's great for portion control. The only thing I did was add a little flour and maple syrup to the mix in the blended. It seemed to hold together better. You should try this recipe, it's great!
