Mellow Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2011
Finally a recipe I can modify to be gluten free without tasting gluten free. Substitute 1 cup Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free All Purpose Baking Flour, 3/4 cup rice flour and add just under one teaspoon of xanthan gum in place of the regular flour. My 9 year old daughter who has to eat gluten free loved them and even her 11 year old brother who hates gluten free deserts liked them. He said he could eat 3 trays of them. Thanks TOMBOYGIRL!

Simple Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2008
You could eat this by itself as a desert. It is delicious. I cooked it seperately from the pork chops and sprayed the apples with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray instead of using real butter.

Sesame Seed Green Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2007
Needs less oil, soy sauce and especially sesame seeds or more green beens and it will be great. Good flavor. Try mixing part sesame oil and part vegetable oil.

Italian Cheese Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2007
I like extra herbs so I added a little more than what is called for. Based on other reviews I only added the amount of cheese called for and I did not have any problem with the bread falling. Wonderful, aromatic bread.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2006
Super easy, super fast to prepare and very tasty. I didn't measure. We like extra seasoning so I just sprinkled the taco seasoning on both sides of the chicken and smothered it with salsa and cheese. All three kids loved it.

Honey Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2006
Good basic bread. I didn't have enough honey though. I agree with the other reviews, add more honey. Also, this is for a one pound loaf so I changed the serving size from 10 to 15 to make a 1.5 pound loaf. Next time I will size it to 13 because it slightly overflowed the machine and was a little doughy. It might also use just a little more salt to bring out the flavors.
