Idaho Fry Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2014
This is a quick dipping sauce to make and tastes good. I made it exactly as the recipe stated. Next time though, I will omit the sugar as the first batch was way too sweet. Ketchup has a lot of sugar already in it, so I don't see any reason to add more. Other than that, thank you for this recipe.

Adrienne's Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: May 13, 2012
This is an excellent cucumber salad recipe. I used English seedless cucumbers. Like another reviewer suggested, I added 1 tablespoon sea salt to the raw cucumbers to render water. Drained cucumbers of excess water and proceeded with recipe. Thanks, JSCHMAND

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
This was a bit bland for my family's taste. I added salt, pepper, more garlic and ricotto cheese. I'll make again, just with more seasoning.

Quick Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
This was too bland for my family's taste. I added a lot of salt, pepper, ricotto cheese and fresh garlic. I should have added some crushed red pepper flakes or finely chopped jalapenos. It was easy to make, just needs a lot more seasoning.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
This is an excellent chicken and dumpling recipe (with a few changes). My family loved it and went back for second helpings. I'm glad though I made these changes. I used only 2 large chicken breasts, less than one large can of biscuits (2 cans is way too much), 2 cans chicken broth instead of water, seasoning salt, garlic powder, pepper and 2 stalks chopped celery; along with the other ingredients. Delish! This reminded my husband of the way his grandma used to make chicken and dumplings.

Ambrosia Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
This is a good ambrosia salad. I used less coconut and less marshmallows. The maraschino cherries are a must for flavor and bright color. There are cherries in the fruit cocktail, but are not of good quality. I sprinkled a slight amount of cinnamon on top for garnish. I'll make again, thanks.

Creamy Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2010
This fruit salad was okay. I had way too much cream sauce compared to the fruit. If I make it again, I'll decrease the sauce by almost half. The sour cream is a bit overpowering.

Tasty! I made this recipe strictly based on the rave reviews and I'm so glad I did. It's delicious. It's an all around great tasting soup. Everyone loved it and there were no leftovers. I highly recommend.

We didn't care for this and won't be making again. There are better marinades.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2006
A very tasty side dish and so easy to make. I put chopped jalapeno peppers in this for a bit more 'kick'. It was great and I'll be making this again.

The Perfect Marinade

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2005
This is just an 'okay' marinade. I marinated chicken for about 4 hours, and I thought it would have more flavor. It didn't taste salty at all like some of the other reviews stated. I would leave out the sesame seeds, they're expensive and they don't enhance to flavor.

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2005
I think my expectations were a little high after reading the rave reviews. This was just okay. If I make it again I'll use flour instead of corn starch and mix in with the butter and onions in the beginning to make a roux. (This was a bit too much corn starch and we don't like the taste.) It needs salt and cracked pepper. I used twice the amount of cheese and a little more broccoli. I may make this again, but will change it up a bit.

Low Sugar Oatmeal Raisin Cookie

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2004
I know this is a low sugar recipe, and if you like no sweetness at all this is the cookie for you. My family prefers a bit more sweetness. I used 5 Equal packets and it's just a bit bitter. I'll make this cookie again, but only for a diabetic person.
