Boneless Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2011
My whole family loves this recipe. I serve these to the kids (19 months, 4 and 6 yrs) without the sauce and I don't get any complaints about the cayenne. I used 2.2 lbs of ck tenderloins and added about 1/4 c of flour. Thanks Betty!

Easy Iced Coffee

Reviewed: May 5, 2010
VERY GOOD!!! But if you are going to put powder creamer be sure to put it in when the coffee is still warm or else it just clumps at the top. Other than that this is a great recipe!! :)

Oven Fried Chicken III

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2009
Super easy and yummy. I took the skin off the breats and thighs. Remember, season to taste! 1 tsp black pepper was a little too much for my kidos. I also baked on a slotted broiler pan to keep the pieces from sitting in any grease.

Fresh Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2009
I'm rating the dressing as I didn't follow the recipe and use the "mix ins" (bacon, eggs & water chestnuts). As others have said, you could halve the dressing and still have some left over. My husband and 13 yo daughter enjoyed it but my 4 and 5 yo said it was "too sour". I thought the dressing was too over powering. I couldn't taste the salad (spinach, chicken, red onion, feta & toasted pecans). Maybe half of the sugar and ketchup? I will try that as my hubby asked me to "put this recipe on rotation!"

Sweet and Spicy Pecans

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2009
First let me say these taste great and I will be giving some as gifts. I'm not sure how these are supposed to look...I was looking for a "glazed" pecan. They were not glazed...kinda crumbly. My camera is broken, otherwise I would post a pic. I first measured out 10 c of pecans and realized they would not fit into two 9x13 pans in a single layer. So, I reduced the amount of pecans (about 6 C. fit into three 9x13 pans). I also didn't put the whole Tbs of red pepper bc of kids. I cooked a little longer to "roast" the pecan, but watch carefully, you don't want to burn the sugar/candy coating. Enjoy!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
I love the convienence of this recipe! I always "kill two birds with one stone". I have a large crockpot and so I cook two chickens. I place one cooked chicken under the broiler to present a beautifully "baked" chicken. I then debone the other and make enchiladas, casseroles, etc. during the week. I also place the seasonings under the skin.

Chocolate Banana Smoothie

Yummy! I have a two year old who doesn't like bananas...what a great way to sneak one in! I did add more chocolate (and used powder).

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
Yum-Yum! I mostly followed the recipe...I used a can of Italian style diced tomatoes (simmered a while & then drained) and sauted 4-5 cloves of garlic in olive oil then added more(3 C.)fresh spinach. This is a great simple recipe!
