This is so good! Even the kids love it. I like to cook the sausage, and then throw everything in the crockpot. I used 4 fresh large tomatoes instead of canned because we have them from the garden. I added the zucchini about mid-day. I added some leftover brown rice too for extra fill and fiber. If you add cooked rice, only add it about an hour or two before you eat, or it may soak up too much juice. I may add Quinoa next time. This is a good base all on it's own.
