I really did think that this was the best pecan pie I have either made or eaten (other people's pies). And guess what!! I lowered the calories by using SPLENDA Brown (advertised as 1/2 the calories of regular brown sugar) and "Truvia" (advertised as 1/4 the calories of white sugar). It was amazingly great without the Karo syrup, which is the only way I've ever made it (or anybody else I know). Thanks for a truly great recipe!
