Easy Deviled Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2005
This is a truly impressive recipe! The mayo/dijon combination serves to seal the chicken... it came out very moist. The cooking time sounded too long, but I was pleasantly surprised. I served it with wild rice, and it was definitely a hit. For those that like dijon, I would add an extra tablespoon or two to the mixture; as is, it is quite a subtle flavor. an easy-to-prepare new favorite!

Cream Cheese, Garlic, and Chive Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2005
This recipe was ok, but nothing special. The problem was that the cream cheese/chive/garlic stuffing is boring. To add some flavor, I'd substitute some swiss or other distinct cheese, and some extra garlic and chives.

Hershey's ® Chocolate Mousse

Don't let the complexity scare you away; it's much easier than it sounds. As written, this is a great, easy and quick dessert.

Bob's Awesome Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2005
This is a great basic recipe that is easy to take up a notch. I substituted ricotta for half of the cottage cheese, and added a little parmesan. For the sauce, I added a teaspoon of oregano, and a teaspoon of basil, and let it simmer enough for the flavors to really blend well. However, even as written, it is a great recipe, and a guaranteed favorite of guests.

Mother-in-Law's Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2004
I prepared this dish with it covered until the last twenty minutes. I only cooked it for an hour, yet the meat was dry, tough, and overcooked. I would advise those that have thin chops to be careful to not overcook. The sauce tasted, not surprisingly, like ketchup. I added a garlic clove, but it did little. I think the next time I will try with garlic and some soy sauce, more mustard, and less catsup.
