Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
At the risk of repeating what other have said, there is nothing about this that resembles stroganoff. It was very soupy, not creamy....just OK. Not one for the recipe box though.

Parmesan Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2008
This was OK. No bells and whistles. Very simple. I too melted some butter in the dish and had no problem with sticking. I increased the parmesan cheese for more flavor.

Blue Cheese and Pear Tartlets

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
I am a lover of blue cheese so I rate these higher but I could barely taste the pears. I doubled the recipe, which I probably didn't need to do. I used two 4oz containers of blue cheese and FOUR pears but still could not taste the pears. I will probably make again as they were so easy to prepare but just cut back on the blue cheese and add more pears.

Bacon Wrapped Pineapple

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
YUM. I had originally planned to make this with water chestnuts but bought the wrong kind so I pulled this recipe up and am so glad I did. I wouldn't change a thing. Delicious.

Shrimp Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2007
I have been using my own Chicken Tetrazzni recipe for years but it's always been so time consuming that I thought I would search for something quicker. This was definately faster to prepare. The mayonaise threw me off at first but it turned out to be OK. I enjoyed the texture and flavor. I rarely cook any Italian dish without garlic so I did add that in as well as some fresh ground pepper. I wouldn't use shrimp again though. It tasted too Tuna Casserole-ish to me so I'll stick with chicken. Overall a good recipe if you're short on time.

Parmesan and Basil Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2005
Very tasty. I buy my chicken for salads and appetizers at GFS where it comes fully cooked, diced and frozen. Just thawed it out and added some Tastefully Simple Seasoned Salt to it and followed the instructions. Served on a flaky croissant. I taste tested a spoonful of it right after it was prepared and it wasn't great so I refrigerated it overnight and had it the next day....much better. Definately needs to be refrigerated to make the flavors blend. Will make again, maybe with some chopped apple or nuts added to it.

Deviled Chicken I

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2005
Easy!! Not as much flavor as I would have hoped for but it was still moist and juicy. Would definately make again, maybe with just chicken breasts and a bit more cayenne pepper to spice it up.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2004
I had previously rated this recipe five stars and stand by that rating. Upon making this again, I purchased a roteserrie chicken and picked off the meat. I also still only used 1/2 cup of the hot sauce and it was just right for me. I also eliminated the cheese this time as I see no need for it. The dip has enough flavor on it's own without the cheese. Now my favorite dip!

Baked Cheese Olives

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2004
I would love to know how the author Anita managed this recipe with only 2T's of butter. I had to add an additional 2T's and they still seem too dry. Overall, they're OK. I made them at home first to test them out. Probably won't go through the effort again though.
