Green Bean Casserole I
It's a traditonal dish and a keeper. I do add garlic powder and a lot of pepper though.

Turkey Brine
Great idea for a brine. I made the vegie stock out of vegie bouillon cubes and omitted the salt altogether. I used fresh rosemary, dry sage, fresh thyme and omitted the savory as I didn't have any. I added fresh garlic, onions, and an orange cut in half. I kept the turkey in the bine for 48 hours and then stuffed the turkey with the spices, onions, garlic and orange from the brine. I also infused the turkey with sage and garlic butter. I always put sage butter in between the skin and the turkey breast cover the turkey in olive oil and season the outside with salt, pepper, sage, garlic and poultry seasoning and cooked the turkey in a bag. It was moist and flavorful. The gravy was wonderfully seasoned. I will use this brine again!

Creamed Onions with Wine
I will add this to my traditional holiday menu! I used fresh small onions and boiled them in a 1/2- 3/4 bottle of white wine I had on hands, with a bay leaf and thyme. I actually overcooked the onions somewhat carmelizing them(awesome oops). I then transfered the onions to a baking dish covered them in cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup of melted butter and evaporated milk as I didn't have any whpping cream. I topped it with shredded parmesan cheese and finished cooking them in the microwave as I was out of space in the oven. They turned out GREAT! People were asking for the recipe. Next time I will try it with some fresh garlic aswell. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
