Fluffy Pancakes

I read the 1 and 2 star reviews for this recipe, and I have to wonder, what did these people do wrong when they made these? This is a great recipe and makes delicious pancakes every time. I've probably made these 40-50 times without issue. The only thing I will say is I usually add 1/2 tsp of vanilla, but no other changes to the base recipe. This is also good if you want to add berries, pumpkin, ect. as well.

I really wanted to like this, it has all the flavors I love, but sadly, I wasn't a huge fan and most of it got thrown out. Thanks for the recipe anyway!

Pork Chalupas

Used white corn tortillas fried for a few seconds in just a bit of veggie oil, and it's even better than using flour tortillas. This was sooooo good!

Southern Living Magazine's Chicken-Fried Steak

This was just okay, my husband gave it a 3 1/2, so he liked it a little better than I did. I've never made this before, so I think I might not have put enough salt in the flour mix, plus I couldnt find peanut oil at the store and had to use vegetable oil. This might've affected the taste. I will probably try to make this again before I give up on the recipe!

Manicotti Alla Romana

My husband and I really liked this recipe, and he gives it 5 stars, but I give it a 4, simply because I didn't think that the white sauce added anything to the dish. It wasn't that the sauce was bad, it was very good in fact, but I personally feel that the dish would've been just as good without it. That being said, I will probably make it as is again, because my husband really did like the white sauce in it!

Spicy Rapid Roast Chicken

The best roast chicken! Because of previous reviews mentioning smoke with the high heat, I did turn the temp down just a bit. I loved how the chicken is seasoned!

Shepherd's Pie VI

I like this recipe, the only thing I changed was instead of using beef broth and ketchup, I used an envelope of dry brown gravy mix. I wasn't sure if I'd care for it as much with a tomato flavored "broth" in the meat.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

I LOVED this! I've been craving cheesecake for the last few months of my pregnancy, and decided to make one instead of buying. I'm glad I chose this recipe! I served it with fresh strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries. Mine did crack, but I didn't care, it doesn't affect the taste.

World's Best Lasagna

This is the only lasagna recipe I use now! The only thing I did different was to use fresh basil instead of dried, and I also omitted the fennel seeds(can't stand them).

Creamy Banana Bread

I thought this turned out wonderful! I did add just a bit more banana, but it would've been fine without it. I also mixed in the nuts, cinnamon, and brown sugar instead of just having a layer. I will make this again!

Salisbury Steak

I've never made salisbury steak before, so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but I loved this, and so did my husband! I used seasoned bread crumbs instead of plain(all I had) and then with the gravy, I had to put the soup in the blender to make it smooth. Hubby would've picked through the onion pieces otherwise. To make sure I had enough gravy, I added about 2/3 c. water and a beef boulion cube. This is certainly a make again recipe!
