Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2014
Delicious and super easy! I reduced the amount of salt to 1-1/2 teaspoons as recommended by other reviewers. I also reduced the paprika by half as well, only because I'm not crazy about it. I used a Pork Sirloin Tip Roast. It was done in exactly one hour.

This cake is super easy and has a great flavor. When I made my husband's birthday cake using this recipe, he thought I bought it. He thought it was really good.

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2011
I have made this a couple of times and everyone loves it and wants the recipe. I did cut sugar by half as other reviewers recommended. I also used fresh strawberries. Makes a wonderful potluck dessert and no one can figure out the crust is made with pretzels but they love it.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2011
I made this last October for my husband's birthday. I actually made two of them one for him and one to share with friends and neighbors. Everyone raved over this and it came out beautifully. I use the photo of the one I baked as my profile photo.

Quick Quiche

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2011
This was super easy and seems to work with whatever I have on hand. I did not have any bacon and wasn't sure how the cheese would work at the bottom of the pan, so I sauteed some mushrooms and spinach, set aside to cool. Mixed together eggs, salt, milk and flour; added cheese, mushrooms and spinach; mixed well and poured into a pan. It was delicious. I've tried with reduced fat swiss cheese and mexican fiesta cheese. Both were very good. I also omitted the melted butter as other reviewers recommended.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2007
This chili is wonderful. I thought it was good after all the ingredients were mixed together even before it simmered for two hours. I was out of basil so I substituted Italian Seasoning, used 3 teaspoons of beef base plus 4 cups of water instead of the beef boullion, used Hot Italian Sausage and green Tabasco instead of red. Also, used 2 red bell peppers and omitted the green bell pepper. This chili is the best. I will definitely make it again. It only took me about an hour to prepare. It's not as difficult as the list of ingredients leads you to believe.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2005
This was so good! I also used 2 T. chili powder and 1 T. cumin. I only used 2 cans of diced tomatoes, doubled the amount of garlic, used chicken base instead of bouillon cubes. Used Ranch Style Beans with Jalepenos and used 7 cups of broth. It has the greatest flavor. Will definitely make again.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2004
I used a 4 pound turkey breast with this recipe, I didn't have any seasoning salt but used a garlic herb mixture with salt. I used about half the amount of other ingredients listed. It turned out just delicious! This is the best turkey I've ever had! It couldn't be any easier and couldn't taste any better.
