BBQ Feta and Hot Banana Pepper Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2009
These were really good. I recently started the south beach diet and these fit in perfectly with my meal plan. The only thing I did differently was, I added some sun dried tomatoes and seasoned it with Spike all purpose seasoning (love that stuff!) Would definitely recommend this recipe! Thanks for sharing it with us :o)

Veal Cutlet with Red Peppers

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
This was my first time making veal, so I was relaly excited about this recipe. Unfortunatly, it did not do it for me.. The dish lacked flavor..the veal was overdone and rubbery. Just not what I was hoping for.

Marcia's Company Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
I husbands mother had given me a recipe very very similar to this a few years ago. It is one of my husbands casserole dishes. In her recipe you mix the cottage cheese mixture with the noodles and alternate layers of meat sauce and the noodle mixture. I also added garlic powder to the meat while it was browning and to the egg noodles.. It is a tasty recipe the makes a lot, and everyone in my family loves it.

Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
OH MY LORD, were these chops DELISH... I had tried lamb chops some years ago and did not care for them at all. After meeting my husband ( a lamb chop lover ) he convinced me to try them again, so i searched and searched for a recipe that just might be palatable for me. I LOVE these lamb chops, the only thing I did differently, was added garlic powder to the seasoning. Make sure you use a high quality Balsamic... makes it so much better! Although, i did make these one time and did not realize I was out of Balsamic until after I had already browned the chops so I had to substitute with something, so I used red wine vinegar.. and it wasnt too bad, but not as good as Balsamic. . Thanks for a terrific recipe!!

Awesome Eggplant Rollatine

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2008
I was really disappointed with this meal, with the great reviews, i thought it would be really really good, But unfortunately for me, it was not. First off, the egg mixture thingy was wayyyy too thick, i dipped my first 3 slices of eggplant in it and there was not too much batter left, so I had to make more, and i thinned that out quite a bit with milk. I didnt roll the eggplant up I just layered the sauce, eggplant, ricotta mixture, eggplant sauce and cheese in a pyrex dish. Took nearly an hour to fry all that eggplant too. I even added some fresh garlic in addition to the garlic powder, and it still didn't have too much flavor. the only reason i gave it two stars is because it is edible, but now i have a 1/2 a pan left.

Chicken Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
This was okay, you definitely need to add more ginger and garlic then the recipe says, I also added more soy sauce to the chicken while it was cooking. I will probably make this again, but will tweek it a bit to satisfy our tastes. One thing that i loved though was the tenderness of the chicken, it was melt in your mouth tender. very good.

Basic Crepes

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2008
Very good recipe. The batter was a little too thick for my liking so I added a little bit more water. I also added 2 Tbsp. of sugar to sweeten it up a bit. Very easy and delicious.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2008
this was soooo good, my kids even ate it. They are 4 and 7. I used boboli thin crust, and Franks Red Hot (love that stuff), and it came out perfect. I also didn't use an entire bottle of dressing, probably only about 1/2 and it was plenty. Will definitely make this again.

Chocolate Mousse Cake II

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2006
I've made this recipe twice now, the first time i made is exactally as the recipe states but found the bottom cake layer to be bland and too dense for my liking. The mousse part on the other hand was to die for. So, the second time I attempted to use brownie mix for the bottom layer and everything else remained the same. OMGOSH.. it was like eating a slice of heaven... i got soooo many compliments on it. I'm making it again today to bring to a dinner party with a few friends... I can't wait till dessert!

Chicken Paprikash II

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2005
This is a very good recipe, very tasty! The only thing i did differently is use boneless skinless chicken breast and cut them into cubes. I also substituted the water for chicken broth and added a little cayenne pepper. By using the bonless breast it only took about 30 mins to make, very quick and easy. I served it over white rice, even my picky eater 5 yr old loved it! Will definatly make again!
