About this Cook
My cooking tragedies
I was really tired and had a sweet tooth, so I decided to bake a pound cake for my family. I used cake flour for the first time, and the cake came out so bad. When I cut it, it made a swooshing sound, so I knew that it was moist or so I thought. Upon eating it, the truth was told, while chewing it, my mouth became so dry from the cake that I had to drink water and fast. I was so upset with myself because I don't like to ruin food, that I put it down the garbage disposal and made brownies the next day and they were the best thanks to Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies. Ahhh, sweet redemption.

Oven Pot Roast
I usually don't make my roast in the oven unless I use a bag recipe. My husband loved this recipe, he raved for hours and then had seconds. My only changes were that I used 2 cans of Cream of mushroom soup, 3/4 cup white Port wine, 4 1/2 pound roast, 1 packet dry onion mix and seasoned the flour with garlic powder and season all season salt.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake
I made this cheesecake yesterday and this was only my second time ever making a cheesecake and it was a little heavy (I hope that it was supposed to be that way), but none theless, it tasted wonderful. My family loved it. I will be using this recipe again. I wonder how this would taste using milk chocolate chips and frozen strawberries instead of white chocolate and respberries? I must give this a try. If anyone tries it first, let me know how it comes out.

Five Ingredient Ice Cream
It is was my first time making ice cream and my daughter said it was the best she ever tasted. After eating a bowlful, it left a greasey taste on the roof of my mouth, it was still the best ice cream I ever had.
