Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

The recipe is great as-is, but I've made some changes over the times I've made these and now I stick with this. Used about half to 3/4 of the specified amount of chocolate chips. Used about 1/4tsp less vanilla. Added a pinch more salt. Added a pinch of baking powder (no more than a pinch unless you like your cookies more like scones). Used cold butter and an electric mixer and cold eggs. Scooped the cookies onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for approx. 30 min. Baked at 350 for 14-16 minutes. I think the amount of time you bake it for depends on how you like the cookie. I like mine chewy and more cooked through so I bake it longer than most reviewers.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

This was a hit on my first try. I read through the reviews and doubled the sauce, added poultry seasoning (1/2 tsp), added chili powder (1/4 tsp), and replaced celery seed with garlic salt. Doubling the sauce made the filling just right - I can't imagine how dry it would have been using the original recipe. Also, I would suggest using a little less of the seasoning next time because, although delicious, the pie was quite rich so my boyfriend I could only eat 1 slice per sitting. And like others, I boiled the veggies in chicken broth and used that same broth for the filling. I baked the pie at 375 for 40 minutes and it came out perfect. I also used the pillsbury refrigerated dough but plan to make the dough from scratch next time. Oh and like other reviewers, brush the bottom crust with egg white and bake at 375 for 6 minutes so it won't be soggy when you bake the entire pie.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

This was by far the easiest/quickest thing I've baked, but the cookies only tasted okay - nothing spectacular but not bad either. Batter definitely makes more than 6 cookies if you're dropping teaspoon sizes like the recipe calls for. I made 6 huge cookies instead and had to bake for an extra 10 minutes or so. I followed some reviewers comments and used 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. I plan to make this again but with the full cup of sugar.
