Easy Alfredo Sauce I

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
I cannot tell you how many times I make this since finding it almost a year and a half ago. We have not bought the jarred sauce since, and that used to be a family staple. I even make it on pizza nights. Sometimes we will order a pizza with no sauce and use the alfredo sauce for dipping. Very yummy. I've been known to use a dollop or two of ricotta cheese in it at times, and if the store is out of parmesan cheese (I live in the sticks, it happens. lol) I'll get the italian blend cheese that has asiago, romano, parmesan and mozzarella. That is really good. Reminds me of the 5 cheese alfredo at one of my favorite Italian restaurants.

Incredible Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
This is really fast and tasty. I used boneless skinless chicken breasts and instead of garlic salt, used seasoned salt. I also sprinkled on some paprika as well, and it was a hit. Love this for nights when I just don't know what to cook. This is really good on pork chops as well. The only thing is I like to brown my chicken up a little bit first.

Toll House® Blonde Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
I cannot believe how good these were. I was looking for a quick dessert to make for an impromptu family dinner. I made mine exactly as the recipe stated. The only change I made was I used half a bag of milk chocolate chips and half a bag of white chocolate chips. I also didn't measure them. I was just finishing off my leftover bags of chips that I had in my freezer, so it probably was a bit more than the 8 oz. but there were no complaints. I baked them in a 9x13 baking dish, and forgot to check the time when I put them in the oven, but I just checked them. I do know that I pulled them out when they started to pull away from the pan and brown on the edges, but I did the toothpick test, and they weren't done yet. So, I just let them sit on top of the stove for about 10 minutes and then put them back in for another 5-10 minutes, retested and they were perfect. I also used some sticks of margarine instead of butter, and they were still great. I'm sure that they'd be even better with butter, because what isn't better with butter? Oh, and keep husbands and kids away when it's in the batter state, because they will want to eat the batter. (It is really that good. lol)

Slow Cooker Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2005
This was absolutely terrible, and there was nothing in it that I didn't like. I followed it exactly to instructions. If you like boiled chicken (which I don't) this is for you. If you do try it, I recommend browning the chicken before putting it in the crock pot. Maybe that will help. Blah.
