Rhubarb Cake II

Reviewed: May 31, 2008
I used strawberry Jell-o. This dessert was a huge hit at a potluck last night. Definitely a recipe I'll use again. I do agree with others that it isn't really a cake.

False Cabbage Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2007
My husband loved this! I didn't have tomato soup so I substituted a can of cream of mushroom soup and a can of diced tomatoes. This is one recipe I'll definitely make again.

German Apple Cake I

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2006
Absolutely delicious. I substituted an equal part applesauce for the oil. The cake was moist and I wouldn't change a thing. My family loved it!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2005
Best pizza crust ever! I made it on a cornmeal-covered baking stone. Crisp bottom, medium thick and absolutely delicious. Wouldn't change a thing.

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2005
OK but nothing I'd make again. Just didn't care for the combination of flavors. Allow about twice as much time as recipe states if large chicken breasts.

Ham and Pineapple Couscous Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2005
This is delicious. Great alternative to a sandwich for lunch. The amount of mustard is not indicated. I used about 1/3 cup. I also added a bit of orange juice to make it a little less dry and some green pepper just because I'm a recipe rebel.

Hot Mocha Drink Mix

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2004
Delicious and easy to make. I did double the amount of instant coffee as it had very little coffee flavor. Also, I used dutch processed cocoa for it's mild taste. This would be great as a gift for a teacher, etc. Just fill a cellophane bag and put it in a cute Christmas mug.
