Sweet and Sour Jam - Not Just for Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2013
Just finished canning a batch of this and it's amazing. I was determined to get it made this weekend, and of course I couldn't find fresh apricots, so I substituted pluots and the store had no habanero peppers, so I used jalapeno and a couple pinches of crushed red pepper. Have some in a bowl cooling in the fridge to put on cream cheese. Thanks for this recipe!!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2011
I love this recipe! I make it on the stovetop, sauteing the chicken in butter with some onion and garlic powder, add in softened cream cheese and salad dressing mix, and then homemade cream of portabella mushroom soup. Serve over egg noodles. I make it with shredded beef more often than I do with the chicken, and it's delicious.

Southwestern Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2009
This soup is awesome. Tweaked it a bit, added black olives, corn and fresh cilantro and leave off the cheese. Have a pot of it on simmering now made with a rosemary and garlic chicken I baked. Thanks for the recipe!

The Most Incredible Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2009
This is awesome garlic bread. I used 8 ounces of cream cheese and added a little less than 1/2 cup olive oil to it and had no problem getting it to blend smoothly and it never did separate, even when stored in fridge for days. I put some of the cream cheese mixture on a kaiser roll, broiled until bubbly, topped with some sliced rotisserie chicken, parmesan cheese, drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil, and then back until broiler until browned. Thanks for this recipe.

This is really good. I made my own apple pie filling to use in it. Will make this again. Thanks for sharing.

No Bake Cookies I

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2008
This is the first cookie I every made, some 43 years ago. The difference in my recipe and this one, 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup cocoa, 2 cups oatmeal and boil for 1 minute. If it is humid, I always increase the time by 15 seconds and have never had them fail.
