I fried these, and they turned out wonderful. This is how I will be preparing pork chops from now on.

London Broil II

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
I added a few tablespoons of worcestershire sauce & a couple teaspoons of lemon juice as per other reviews. I substituted olive oil for the vegetable oil as well. Grilled on my grill pan about 5 mins on each side and it turned out wonderful.

Barbeque Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2008
The bbq sauce definatly makes this dish! It is SO good! I used bone-in skinless chicken thighs & I also doubled the sauce. I omitted the water all together from the bbq sauce and added a couple dashes of Frank's Red Hot Sauce. Cooked for 15 minutes with just a few pads of butter & salt, pepper, and garlic powder on top. Then coated with half of the bbq sauce, cooked for 20 minutes, and then basted with the rest of the sauce, and cooked for 10 more minutes. 45 minutes total. Next time I might triple the sauce just so we can have some for dipping on the side. The whole family loved this dish, and I will be making it again!

Fried Green Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2008
I have been frying my pork chops like this for years, but never thought of applying that same method to fried green tomatoes before. I'm glad that I came across this recipe - it will be the way that I fry my green tomatoes from now on. It is even better when served along side Chipotle Mayo also from this site. Delish!

Fried Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
Excellent recipe! I didn't change a thing, except that I sliced 1/2" thick slices off of a block of fresh mozzarella and made more of a cheese patty so to speak. They were awesome!

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
I have made this tons of times. I substitute the angel food cake for pound cake & use homemade strawberry topping (from this site) instead of the storebought glaze. I also double the cream cheese mixture. Like other, I layer mine in a bowl as a triffle.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
Wonderful recipe! The only thing that I changed was I added some fresh chopped garlic, and I changed the way I layered it. I mixed the sauce & noodles up before layering into the dish so that the sauce would get into them all and there would not be any dry noodles. Then I added the sour cream, then the cheese. I will definatly be making this one again. Love it!

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2008
The best! This is the recipe I always use when making pancakes. They are also good if you add some chocolate chips, or cover them in a homemade strawberry sauce. Can't get any better than this!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
I have made this several times using the Parmesan cheese in the container with the green lid, & it was very good! This time, I read through the reviews & came across one from the original submitter of the recipe to use REAL shredded Parmesan on top. So, thats what I did this time around, and it was SO MUCH BETTER! My husband claimed he was full, but kept going back for more. I had a surplus of fresh jalapenos & banana peppers in my garden, so I used those this time instead of the canned ones, and its even better. But it also really really good with the canned ones!

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2008
I do not really care for banana pudding, but my kids do - so I made this yesterday for them, and I ended up trying a piece because it was such a different recipe than the one I usually use on the back of the Nilla Wafer box. It was so rich & creamy - very decadent!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2008
These were absolutly wonderful - tasted like something you get at a gourmet candy shop. I used my silicon muffin cups for these, and made them quite big - a full muffin size! I call them my 'peanut butter buckets' :)

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2007
These were awesome! They came out so tender & juicy, which is a hard thing to get a pork chop to do. I don't keep wine on hand often, so I added a little extra milk and a few good splashes of worcestshire sauce. I also used Jane's crazy salt in place of the seasoning salt, and seasoned the chops again with the janes crazy salt, some pepper, and garlic powder when they came out of the skillet before baking them. I will definatly be making these again.

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2007
I have been making this recipe for about 6 years now. I always double the diced tomatoes, & add a full 2 pounds of ground beef b/c we like our lasagna nice & meaty. Wonderful recipe, and a favorite in our home.

Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
I made this for dinner tonight, and it was outstanding! I did make some changes. I used cheez it crackers instead of bread crumbs, and mexi blend cheese instead of the cheddar. Instead of rolling it into a pinwheel, I layered the cheese, along with some sauteed onions, in the actual loaf, which turned out great. I also put a few strips of bacon on top while it cooked. It was mouthwatering good!

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2007
I made these for dinner tonight for my family, and they were to die for. Much better than the ones we get in restaraunts! Even my 6 & 7 year old daughters ate every bite. The changes I made were that I doubled the minced garlic, omitted the green peppers, and used italian seasoning instead of the oregano. Very inexpensive to make as well, which is a big plus! I will definatly be making these a lot more!
