This is a very standard sausage ball recipe, and it's great!! I generally add a little bit of water to incorporate everything a bit easier, and I also use a flavored sausage (like maple or sage) for a little extra pizzazz.
I find that making my own is a somewhat healthier alternative, to buying the frozen ones in a bag from Tennessee Pride. They are hard to find here in Florida, and are soooo greasy. This recipe makes them just as good, without all the grease.
I wish that other reviewers would read the directions a bit more carefully, as the recipe does not call for the sausage to already be browned, and the baking time is indeed 20-25 minutes. 10 minutes if sausage balls are pre-cooked and frozen.
