One-Jar Lemon Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2014
Didn't have coconut vinegar so used white champagne vinegar, was a little too tart probably because of the change in vinegars we added about another TBS of honey. This will be a regular in our house.

Wished I had made more! I wish I had had some real maple syrup,so I used just used the regular maple syrup and it was still great. I did use the rest of the marinade, to cook down into a glaze. It was perfect!

Lemony Quinoa

Reviewed: May 28, 2014
This was the first time that we cooked Quinoa, the kernels were kingdom of stuck together. The flavor was great, but think maybe we did something wrong. We did rinse it very well before starting the recipe.

Mango, Strawberry, Banana Smoothie

Reviewed: May 19, 2014
I like to get my bee pollen, flax, and coconut oil in for the day when I make a smoothie for breakfast. My Stevia plant is growing like crazy and it blended just great, it made me feel like a real farmer. :)

I used a package of frozen corn, coconut milk and instead of flour used corn starch, and just a dash of cayenne. Thanks for this recipe, it is a real keeper.

Grilled Hanger Steak with a Roasted Shallot Port Demi Sauce and Grilled Garlic Green Beans originally by Chef Shelley

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2014
This was fabulous! I did not have time or the inclination to spend two days making real demi-glace so I used the darkest beef gravy in a jar that I could find. I also did not have port wine so I used Sherry and it was very good. I am not sure how the real original recipe here would have tasted but I substituted what I could and it turned out fabulous so I'm sure that with the real demi-glace say it is equally good, if not better. Hats off to the chef!

Slow Cooker Kalua Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2014
While the cooking liquid was pretty salty, the meat was fantastic! I would reccommend this for a frequent go to easy recipe that everyone will be sure to enjoy. We didn't use the cooking liquid, but I did store the leftovers in it and am going to fix myself a sandwich right now. I served with my Boston Baked beans and coleslaw.

To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2014
This the best we have ever had, I grilled some chicken and some broccoli cut up real small, then added it to the sauce before adding the pasta. I also added just a little diced pimento for some color. This truly is to die for, thanks for a super recipe.

We loved this, didn't change a thing. We did add sour cream and some sharp cheddar when we folded up the tortillas. Great recipe will become one of our go-to recipes.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2013
Loved it, used skinless legs and thighs. After about 5 hrs I pulled out the chicken and took the meat off the bones and put it back in the sauce. I made a roux out of about a 1/2cup of Merlot wine and about 2 TBS of Corn starch, stirred it in with sauce and cooked uncovered for about another hour. It was perfect. Served it over spaghetti and sprinkled with chopped green onions, with a salad and some artisan rosemary bread.
