Artichoke, Cheese and Olive Antipasto
Since I was "pot-lucking" this and not serving/garnishing, I added the basil to the dressing. Because some in the group don't tolerate oregano well, I substituted thyme. I couldn't find smoked provolone, so used regular and it worked fine. After dicing 1/2 lb. of provolone it looked like enough, so I didn't add the remaining 1/2 lb. Everyone loved it!

Marinated Tuna Steak
We loved it. I marinated the tuna about 90 minutes, but wouldn't go more than an hour. Even with low sodium soy sauce it was a little salty. I cooked the tuna indoors for 5 minutes on each side on a hot grill pan for a medium (light pink) center. I also followed the suggestion of another and simmered the marinade to thicken. It made a nice sauce for rice.

Real Hummus
I followed the author's updated version and found it to be easy and tasty. The cumin adds great flavor. I use only 1 clove of garlic, especially if it will sit for a day or so because the garlic becomes too obvious, in my opinion. Also, I drained all the liquid from the beans, added the juice of the whole lemon and the olive oil to the processor.
