Restaurant Style Beef and Broccoli

This was really delicious! I modified the recipe a little based on some reviews- added one extra clove of garlic, ginger powder, some red pepper flakes, and some salt and pepper. I also combined everything together instead of adding the ginger and garlic to the oil. I used about 2 teaspoons of potato starch as I'm allergic to corn. I also added 2/3 cup beef broth to extend the sauce. Will definitely make again!

Honey Ginger Shrimp

Followed some other reviewers suggestions and added approximately 1/2 can of coconut milk. I also added extra garlic and honey along with adding some fresh ginger (still added ground ginger). This was delicious! Served over rice with steamed broccoli and cauliflower.

Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake (Gluten Free!)

This was delicious! I would never have though it could taste so amazing without flour and butter but it did! I made them in little mini muffin pans to keep portion control down when eating them (baked at 350 for 15 min). Next time I'll plan to blend it a little longer in my food processor but that was user error.

Baked Potato Soup

This was a little too salty so the next time I make it, and there WILL be a next time, I am going to half the amount of salt. Other than being a little on the salty side it was an amazing soup! I loved the depth the chicken stock added. Thanks for an awesome recipe!

Pup-Cakes

My dog loved these! I didn't have any apples in so I used some shredded zucchini that I had frozen from my garden this past summer. I'm looking forward to making them again with apples. They were also a big hit with the other dogs I gave them to. Thanks for the dog friendly recipe!

Cornmeal Coating

I decided to make sole fish and chips for dinner as the man of the house requested a corn mean crusted fish (I usually use beer batter)- this was the recipe to try. For the flour/cornmeal part I only used Lawrey's Garlic salt, cayenne pepper, and a little ground black pepper. I also used about 1/4 cup for cornmeal than the recipe calls for. It turned out great and was nice and crispy. For people who are having a hard time getting a crispy crust try having your frying oil at a higher temperature. I use peanut oil for frying and have it about 375-400 degrees. Not only does it get a nice brown exterior it's super crispy and things fry faster so you don't feel like you are eating as much grease.

Tartar Sauce I

I was making fish and chips and didn't realize until the last minute that I didn't have any tartar sauce in. I decided to give this recipe a try and it was surprising how it tasted EXACTLY like the real thing. I didn't have sweet pickle relish so I just used regular dill relish but it didn't make a difference at all. I also didn't add onion or salt and pepper (didn't think it needed it). I did add the lemon juice though. Thanks for the great recipe!

Indonesian Satay

This is a great recipe! I added extra peanut butter because it was too watery at first and I let it simmer for a while to thicken up. I also added a little dash of red pepper flakes to give it a little heat. I marinated the chicken for about 30 min instead of the recommended 15 min and it turned out great. There was a lot of flavor and the peanut sauce was excellent!

Szechwan Shrimp

I really enjoyed this recipe! I tripled the sauce because I added some veggies- thin carrot slices, snap peas and bell pepper. I only gave it four stars because it wasn't as hot as I was expecting it to be after reading other reviews. I think next time I will add a little more spice and then it will be perfect. Thanks for such a quick and easy delicious recipe!

Lemon Kolaches

These were very good! It was a nice not too sweet option instead of a danish for breakfast. I really enjoyed the light lemon flavor- I added extra lemon zest to the filling mixture. I also liked how light and fluffy the texture of the bread was. I will make these again!

Fish Tacos

I used a different batter to on the fish and I used mahi mahi instead of the cod fillets because that is what I had on hand but these turned out great! I used a different batter because I'm into cooking healthy and didn't want to fry the fish. The sauce that is part of the recipe is a must have with these tacos! I made it a few hours ahead to the flavors could combine and was amazed at how much it added to the dish. Thanks for the recipe it was a great change of pace to the week night dinner.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

I made a healthy version of this recipe for the first try and I also added several different fresh and canned veggies (as some other people suggested) and it was delicious! The casserole was huge because I did double the recipe but we went through it in just 2 days. I will definitely be keeping this one on had to make again. Super filling!

Delicious Peanut Butter Cookies

These were amazing! Followed the recipe exactly the first time as I always do and my boyfriend and I were very happy with the results. They also were great the next few days if you heated them up in the microwave for a few seconds and then had warm cookies with milk. Yum!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

This is the most amazing cake! While I usually don't use cake mix to make a cake I was short on time for a get together and I used this recipe. All of my guests were impressed and there wasn't much left of the cake afterwards. I followed the directions exactly and it turned out super moist and delicious. I've made it a few times since and have always had great results. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other reviewers suggestions of different cake a pudding mixes. Thanks for the awesome recipe!

Blender Hollandaise Sauce

I was amazed at how true this hollandaise sauce turned out- it really had a great texture and was super easy to make. I think next time I'll use less or a different type of mustard because it was a little much but otherwise a great recipe!

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

This dip was really great! I didn't have dried basil on hand so I used fresh....I think it was a little over powering so next time I'm going to try the dip without adding basil. I also used some healthier options, low fat cream cheese and low fat sour cream (used the sour cream as some other reviewers suggested) and a tablespoon of low fat mayo. Thanks for the great recipe!

Chocolate Truffle Cookies

While I am a true chocolate lover these were a little too much for me. I think next time I will use less chocolate in the mix and add fewer chocolate chips and a bit more sugar.....they tasted more like the bitter or unsweetened baking chocolate than I like. I will also make a point to buy better quality chocolate for the next try. The texture was great though!
