Golden Rum Cake
This is a good recipe but I have found that when it comes time to add the glaze I generally use more rum, using both white and dark rum, and a little less sugar. I have sometimes doubled the recipe for the glaze, pouring one part into the bottom as directed and then a second over the top after I flip the pan.

Irish Shepherd's Pie
I've made this several times for family and friends and each time it is a hit. I have served it to those that are less than excited about lamb and they have commented that it tastes much better than they expected it would. I would guard against using all of the mashed potatoes as they can easily overpower the good stuff underneath.
