About this Cook
I love food - but hey, who doesn't? There are only a few things I don't eat, cheesecake being one of them. And yes, I've been told I'm crazy. I like spicy food and all types of ethnic foods, especially Indian. I also love a great Italian meal. The worst part about cooking is cleaning up the mess afterward, but it's usually always worth it!
My favorite things to cook
I love baking. Cakes, muffins, breads, brownies. All the great stuff! I love making food that takes a lot of love. Lasagna, tomato sauce, meatballs, casseroles, turkey. And I LOVE breakfast! Lately I've been experimenting with spicy foods.

My cooking triumphs
I love when I'm able to replicate a good restaurant meal, and really make it sizzle. I'm a total "copy cat" when it comes to cooking and not at all creative or original.
My cooking tragedies
Can't really come up with anything, but that's only because I tend not to experiment on my own. Although, someone might say the time I added way too much paprika to the scrambled eggs. I disagree - they were fabulous!

American Potato Salad
I made this for a guy's wing night and it was awesome. I fried up a few slices of bacon and added it in. I also added a red pepper for some colour. Will definitely be making again and again! Play around with spices to find your own unique taste.

Sangria! Sangria!
I made this for a girls only dinner party and it was a huge hit! I used peach schnapps and rum. I cut up all the fruit and let it sit overnight in all the liquids (except the wine). An hour before serving I added the wine (I used a cheap Merlot) and since there was no room left in the serving bowl, I left out the ginger ale and let people add it to their cups along with some ice if they wanted. Refrigerate everything the night before, including the wine, and it will stay nice and cold. Will definitely make again!

Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus
Absolutely delicious! Used herb & garlic cream cheese. Presentation looks beautiful. Great side dish for dinner parties.
