Oven Fried Chicken III
Success! I have a terrible history with oven fried (and pan fried) chicken. This turned out perfect. I followed other peoples' advice and mixed the mayo with milk and also baked it on a cooling rack on a cookie sheet. I crushed up some dry stuffing mix and added it to the bread crumbs for a little extra seasoning. It was a hit with the whole fanily (including my pickiest eater). I will use this recipe again and again!

Seven Layer Magic Cookie Bars
These are awesome! My mom used to make them when I was little. I made them according to this recipe and they didn't taste just like the ones I had when I was young (of course, what does?). So I went back to my mom's recipe box. The original Borden recipe calls for the milk to be poured on last (over all the ingredients). I did another batch doing it that way (what a hardship--LOL) and they turned out "just like mom used to make). Perfect!

Apple Betty
YUM! I love this recipe, it was so easy! I made a couple changes. I did as people suggested and did half brown sugar half white sugar. I also put half of the cinnamon in with the sugar mixture and then the other half I added to the diced apples and tossed them around to mix it in to give the apples a bit more seasoning. Thanks for the recipe--it was a hit at my house!
