Mulberry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2008
I just made this today, and it was great. I too cut back the suager to 1 cup and used 2/3 cup of flour. I did not put the pie in the fridge or use milk (cuz I forgot about that part) and this is delicious!! I used my own crust too. Oh, and I did not remove the stems!!! Thanks.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies III

These turned out great. I was a tad afraid of the orange juice, but if did no harm at all; if anything made them better! I will definately make these again and again.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2005
I think I did something wrong. I know for the next time to use a stronger cheese and let the sauce cook for a few minutes longer in the saucepan. Other than that I could get where the recipe was going and should have gone, so, I will try again next time. Hope this helps someone!

Cream Cheese Cookie Cups

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
I am sorry! I am not usually so critical, but these were not good. They were, as someone else mentioned, too much like like a frosting and not a creamy center.

Smothered Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2009
This was great. Tender. Did need some salt and pepper. And I did not cook them for as long as it says, I did 24 minutes. I like pork to be 160 degrees. Don't forget salt though!!

Best Ever Butter Cream Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2005
This is very good tasting. I beat my egg whites stiff, and let my milk cool and used room temp butter. I mixed for 13 minutes and it was like velvet. I even used food coloring and had no problem!!

Great recipe! My husband is super picky and he loved it. I did omit the dry mustard because I did not have any, still great!

Moist Yellow Cake

I hate to say it, but this does taste a bit like cornbread. Not everyone will think that though so I suggest that if you're interested in making this, go for it!

Chocolate Chip Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
Delicious! Family loved it. The only change I made was the BUTTER. Listened to another viewer and cut the butter down to stick and a half. Next time, will use a graham cracker crust and milk chocolate chips.

Oatmeal Whole Wheat Quick Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2009
This recipe is a keeper. This is a poor-man's bread. In these hard times it is perfect. I did not use whole wheat bread(didn't have any) and put the dough in a loaf pan. My children gobbled this up. We made this for breakfast with butter, jam and apple butter. Great for any meal and for a quick snack. Thanks for sharing this.

Simple Savory Pork Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2005
Excellent roast. I used a 2 1/4 lb pork butt roast, doubled the rosemary and cut it up and double thyme, 2 t of salt and lots of pepper. I rubbed in the dry herbs and then massaged olive oil on the roast. I roasted it for 1 hour and 20 minutes. This roast is juicy and moist and tender and has so much flavor!

Easy and good. My heat was 375 for 50 minutes and then I put them under the broiler for some crunch.

Jagerschnitzel

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2010
This was really good. I was so tired of Italian cooking and this was a great change!! I have never eaten this before, and followed it to the T, except no bouillon and used beef broth, and it was well. If you have a stainless steel pan don't heat it so much, maybe just medium, it will burn the breading. Thanks DSPIRAL.
