Whole Wheat Honey Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2004
The loaf turned out perfect and I would recommend everyone to try this recipe. I did use 1c. of white flour in place of whole wheat and it turned out wonderful.

Chicken Garlic Pizza

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2005
This was an excellent pizza, however it could use more garlic sauce. I made my own crust in the breadmaker and rolled it very thin. I may add some mozzarella and feta next time. Will definitely make again.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2005
Very good recipe. My oven wasn't working so I cooked the chicken on the stove and cut up and added to the sauce. I only gave it 4 stars because it was very salty, I may try to alter that some way in the future. It was great the next day too!

This is defintely a recipe I will keep. It tastes just like pasta from a restaurant. I also added mushrooms and a few more sundried tomatoes.

Tortilla Chicken Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2006
Excellent recipe. Used chicken breasts instead of whole chicken. Also, added red bell peppers. Directions are a bit careless but easy to follow (some ingredients are labelled differently in the directions vs. the list. Definitely recommend.

The pork turned out okay, but was nothing special. Could be that my pork tenderloin came peppered.

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2007
I thought they were a little bland and a bit too cheesy, although this may suit some people's tastes. Next time I would use less cream cheese and add more spices such as cumin and chili pepper.

Creme Brulee

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2007
I thought the recipe was great and the result was the most creamy creme brulee I have ever made. However, I found the recipe directions to be somewhat lacking but made due on my own. I first whisked the eggs, vanilla, and sugar in a bowl. I heated the cream on the stove just until boiling (probably 5-7 minutes). I slowly added the cream to the egg mixture. I then transferred the result to the stove and heated it another 5-7 minutes until it coated the back of my spoon. In the meantime I had boiled water and used this to make a waterbath for my ramekins. I used a 9 x 11 dish and placed 6 ramekins in it and added the boiling water around the ramekins so that it covered about 1/2 the side of the ramekins. I then poured the creme brulee in the ramekins and baked for about 35 minutes. Ingredients wise I would prefer a bit more sugar next time but they were very delicious.

This is a very quick and easy pasta dish to make. I thought it tasted a little too much like sour cream but it was still very good.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

I made this cheesecake for my party and everyone raved--it is awesome! My cheesecake cracked but I didn't let it cool at an even pace so that was my fault--I was in a hurry to serve it. Definitely deserves 5 stars!

Greek Pasta with Tomatoes and White Beans

This recipe is amazing--simple to make and it tastes great! The only change I made was that I used one 6-oz bag of spinach instead of 10-oz. My husband raved about this one!
