Pork Medallions with Dijon Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
Great! My husband and brother loved it. I added the mushroom, as a previous user suggested. Also sauteed 1/2 an onion with the mushrooms. The perfect recipe. Paired with rice and asparagus. No leftovers!

Balsamic Green Bean Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2008
Best side ever! The sweet crunchiness of the green beans with the rich tang of the vinegar compliment every picnic. This is my family's favorite Thanksgiving side. I always have to make extras so people can have leftovers!

Moon Cake

Make it Diabetic friendly in a blink of an eye!Use sugar-free pudding, and low-fat milk and cream cheese. Instead of chocolate syrup, melt bittersweet/dark chocolate chips to drizzle over the top, as they are lower in sugar. So delicious and easy. People love the diabetic version!

Rolled Buttercream Fondant

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2008
Horrible experience. Halved the recipe, but still used almost 8lbs of sugar and it still was greasy. The flavor was okay, and that's the only reason I'm even giving it two stars. Try a different recipe, and save yourself the misery.

Chocolate Pound Cake III

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2008
I have never had an easier baking experience! This is a fail-safe recipe. My family thinks this is the way a brownie made with pudding would taste like. I have made this probably over 10 times and it always turns out well. I add an extra egg. I always follow the recommendation of using extra buttermilk and never frost, it's so perfect! Make it! Make it! Make it! And you will never regret it!

Best Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2008
I really enjoyed the recipe. First attempt, and I want to thank the recommendation of first making the roux and the suggestion of blending the mixture for upwards of 15 - 20 minutes. I rate it a 4 because this was my first exposure to buttercream and don't want to disappoint any experts.

Such an easy recipes to follow. And works well with changes. We use cheddar cheese and canned corn and it still comes out perfect.

I have people requesting I bring this to their holiday parties! Don't be discouraged if you don't have canned cream corn. It's easy to make your own and still it comes out perfectly!
