Beef Stew VI

This stew was a hit! I followed the suggestions of other users by substituting red wine for 1/2 of the water called for. I also used mini yukon potatoes cut in half with skins left on because I preferred the look. Browning the beef in small batches before starting helped make it easier to turn the pieces in the bottom of my stock pot. Delicious the next day and freezes well. The beef was super tender.
