About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Love to bake cookies and sweet breads. Recently started taking a liking to making pies.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Eve family tradition of juicy prime rib, the rest could be mud as long as that wonderful meat is there.
My cooking tragedies
Another family tradition is "cookie day" about 2 weeks before Christmas all the ladies of the family get together and bake our favorite cookies (usually around 20 different types that day), Bit of mess it makes when you forget to add the flour to a cookie mix. I guess thats better than adding salt instead of sugar.

Ann's Sister's Meatloaf Recipe
Great consistancy, best meat loaf I've ever made, I usually get complaints. Bacon is a very nice extra flavor. Thank you. A little too salty for my taste, will cut back on soup mix next time. Did not have tomato sauce, used tomato soup, worked fine.

Meatball Lemon Soup
I have made this several different times, I love it, have found that little less carrot and a lot less onion (I use dehyrated onion) helps hold the meatball together better.
