#What's so great about football?

With the "big game" coming up most people are going football crazy! The football infection has even spread to all recipes. I, myself, have never cared very much for football. Aside from the game providing scholarship opportunities, I do not see the point of the getting so entranced in the sport. Sports are great past times with marvelous possibilities for athletes to get scholarships but some people seem to get so wound up about which team they are rooting for or who ever is winning. While sports like football have pros like I stated, they also have many cons like competitiveness which separates us as a society . Even though I do not personally care football I am not saying it's bad, all I'm saying is that those who play the sport or enjoy it don't need to be so competitive!

I'm sure there are many out there that don't care about football but I'm afraid you are out numbered. You might want to try NASCAR, any other sport is just a game.

Speaking technically, all sports are all merely games.Nothing more, nothing less. Also, cars driving in circles continuously does not sound very entertaining to me but thank you though.

Gabe, what's wrong with competition?

We love football in our house! Yes, it is indeed competitive, but a little competition keeps everyone on their toes. And when your team's success and financial state depends on how competitive you are, that makes for some pretty strong motivation. Just the view from the other side of the coin... Our teams are all finished for the year, and we are looking forward to the draft. Did I mention that we love football around here, LOL? In a little less than a month, you'll have a little peace. :)
