PHILADELPHIA Peaches 'N Cream No-Bake Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2010
I won a potluck contest with this recipe today! I've made this dessert twice and like it better with fresh peaches. I also like the fact that it calls for reduced fat cream cheese and light cool whip. Next time I might sub half the cheese for fat free. Overall a very easy no-bake dessert that I'll use for years to come!!

Roquefort Pear Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
Absolutely incredible salad! I made it for a large family birthday dinner and everyone loved it so much they asked me to make it for Christmas dinner as well as demanded the recipe. I made a couple changes; I used reduced fat feta cheese instead of roquefort and decided I wanted the crunchines of romaine lettuce which turned out to be perfect! I used others' suggestions and added a tablespoon or two of water when I carmelized the pecans as well as made the dressing the night before and served it on the side so I didn't have soggy leftovers. Thanks so much for this amazing recipe! It will be a regular crowd pleaser!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
Excellent roast recipe! I used a 2.5lb roast, 1 can of soup, 1 cup beef broth & half a packet of onion soup mix. About 2 hours before serving I added baby carrots, potatoes, celery & onion. Was delish, best part was definitely the gravy!

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2009
This was a great recipe! My husband was not thrilled when he found out I was making something with tuna, but it suprised him that it tasted so good. I loved it too and the only changes I made was added frozen peas & carrots and topped it with crushed potato chips. Delicious!

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
This is a great recipe that I have made several times. I use garlic & onion powder as well as some hot sauce to kick it up a bit more. Another variation is sauteing the shrimp in the sauce, make sure not to overcook then they get a rubbery texture. A very easy and delicious recipe, thanks!

Spinach Dip with Water Chestnuts

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
Excellent dip even using low fat variation. I'm not a water chestnut lover but I can handle and appreciate them in this dip. Adds the needed crunch and makes it stand out. I also reduce the sour cream 1/4-1/2 cup, add a little salt and garlic powder for more flavor. When I don't have green onions I just add a bit of onion powder. Thanks for a great recipe.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
These are excellent! I made them twice this week. The first time I followed the recipe exactly and the second time I added milk chocolate chips. I would recommend using mini chips because they didn't melt entirely but was a very nice surprise! Will be making these forever...

Garlic Green Beans

Reviewed: May 16, 2008
Great recipe, we were looking for a new side dish! I wanted to use fresh beans but all I had was canned, it still tasted great. I also didn't have any parmesan cheese so I will have to try that next time. Thanks for the recipe!

I used this sauce to put over Souvlaki, another recipe from this site. It was awesome! I think it definately tasted better after sitting overnight.

Souvlaki

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2008
We really liked this recipe! I marinated it for 4 hours but will do it overnight next time. This is going to be one of our regular dishes from now on. I doubled the marinade and served it in a Pita pocket with the Tzatziki sauce from Serena on this site. Excellent!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2008
Absolutely perfect Pot Pie!! My husband is always apprehensive when I make new dishes(complains). Well not last night. I had more compliments than ever and more this morning when he was packing the leftovers for lunch! I made the following adjustments: Added a med. potato, used seasoned chix thighs (all I had to work with and very moist), forgot to add the peas & onion but didn't miss them, used a little onion powder instead. Boiled it all in chicken broth, then used the broth as the base b/c it had all the flavor from the chicken and veggies. Also brushed the bottom crust with egg whites and baked for five min before adding the filling. Mixed the chicken w/ the sauce before dumping it in the crust. EXCELLENT!

Irish Cream Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2008
Excellent Recipe!! I used the advice of poking holes in the cake pulling it out and pouring the glaze in the pan. Then placing the cake back in for 15 minutes to soak it up reserving some of the glaze to pour into the holes. It came out beautiful and there was none left!! Thanks for a great recipe!

Excellent recipe! I took the advice of using ground sausage half mild and half hot. And also used a little more cream than suggested. It turned out perfect! I made this for my work cook-off and I won with this soup! Everyone loved it! Thanks for the great recipe!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2007
My Dad came out last week and I made this just for him since he is a true Italian! He has his own recipe but thought I would try and out beat him. Well I know I did! He wouldn't admit it because of pride but I know he will be calling for the recipe! The only changes I made were using all sausage from a specialty store like Tony's. Thanks for an awesom recipe!
