I left out the green pepper (did not have one) and used a handful of sliced grape tomatoes. Everyone loves this. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Quinoa Side Dish

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2013
Perfect side dish! I did use chicken broth in place of the veggie broth since that is what I had in the pantry. My only other minor changes: switching the fresh herbs (I used basil & oregano) and using grapeseed oil instead of butter to keep it dairy free as well as gluten free. My 2 yr. old grandson loved every bite! Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Blueberry Dump Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2013
Very good! Love a quick and easy recipe. I added more blueberries (about a cup or so extra) since I had them to use up. Increased the sugar just a bit to compensate for the extra berries, melted some butter (used a little more than called for, as well) and chopped some cold (worked to give both textures in the topping) and sprinkled cinnamon and sugar over the cake mix. I did need to bake longer, but that was probably because of the increase of berries, sugar and butter. Thanks for sharing!

Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2013
I added extra cherries, almond extract, cinnamon and used peaches (since that is what I had) in place of pineapple. The pan I used was an airbake pan, so baking time was 55 minutes. Very quick, easy and good! Thanks for sharing!

Nettles Dried Beef Dip

Reviewed: May 12, 2013
Very tasty with Salt & Papper potato chips! I doubled this. I did not have horseradish, so I used a few good size squirts of Stone ground mustard with horseradish (very good idea-yum!!). I had green onions, so I used those. My cream cheese was the whipped kind, so I did not need to add the milk. Although I doubled this, I only used one jar of the beef and added a few shakes of Lawry's seasoned salt. With or without the black olives, this is some good stuff! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Peach Cobbler I

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2012
Wonderful!!! After reading through the reviews, I did reduce the butter by half, added the cinnamon to the peaches & added vanilla to the topping mixture. I used 6 very large peaches and this baked up perfectly. Made it this morning and it is already gone! Good thing I shared some, because I could have/would have eaten the whole thing by myself! Thanks for sharing the recipe!!!

Sour Cream Corn Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2012
Other than doubling the sugar (we like it sweet), I followed the recipe. As soon as it came out of the oven, I put a Tbsp or two of butter over the top and let it melt. This is a keeper! Thanks for sharing the recipe!!

Creamy Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2012
We really liked this! I used rosemary/oregano seasoned tomatoes that I "smooshed" with my potato masher. My only additions were coarse ground pepper & a few shakes of salt with shredded cheese sprinkled on top upon serving. Next time I will probably reduce the cream cheese by half, but this was delicious! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Dirty Alfredo

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2012
I added quite a bit of cream to get it to the consistency I was wanted. Other than the cream, I added in a good handful of fresh parsley. I am really glad I made those two additions since it totally hid the jarred taste. I did leave the chicken out of this recipe and served marinated grilled chicken cut on the diagonal over top. The bacon is what made this so good, but bacon makes everything better! I'll make this again and toss in some frozen peas. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Slow Cooker Oatmeal

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2012
I used my SMALL crock pot. I added the old fashioned oats, water & some cinnamon & left it on low for 8 hours. Gave it a stir, added about 1/4-1/3 cup 1% milk and 8 packets of sweet n low. This is also a good time to add any fruit or nuts, if you like. THEN, I added in one packet of single serve oats to get the right consistency. I put the lid back on, popped the toast in the toaster, prepared my mug of coffee and the oats were perfect! The addition of that little packet of oats made all the difference! I'll be making this often! Thanks for sharing your recipe!!

Lemon Dressing

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2012
Loved it! I used a "pink" packet rather than sugar & used a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice. My oil was garlic infused, so I omitted the minced garlic, but did add some black pepper. The family had this over (mixed) green salad & I had it over cucumbers. YUM! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Spareribs with Savory Sage Rub

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2012
I used this on 12 boneless pork chops that I grilled on my grill pan. Sooooo good! I did spritz them with olive oil before rubbing in the mixture. After grilling, I let them rest to redistribute the juices and then lightly sprinkled with Lawry's seasoned salt. Perfect and juicy! This a a keeper!!! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
