Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Five stars! This was delicious and so easy to make! The texture is nice and the flavor is just right. I only added one additional spice (pumpkin pie spice), otherwise it needed no tweaking.

Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti

This recipe produces delicious biscotti and the pistachios give them a rich, nutty flavour! The only adjustments I made were substituting canola oil for the light olive oil, and adding more than the recommended 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract - I added two teaspoons as I prefer them to have that extra taste of almond. Thanks for the recipe.

Homesteader Cornbread

This was just OK. It was my first time making home made cornbread, and it was just your average cornbread! It did not taste very sweet at all, and I followed the sugar serving recommendations. If you like your cornbread slightly sweet (I did not taste any sweetness, just savory), than perhaps add a bit more sugar.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is just a standard chocolate chip cookie recipe. The cookies turned out fine, although nothing to warrant all of these rave reviews! I adjusted the baking time to 12-15 minutes, as they were still very soft and raw looking in the centers after the recommended 10 minutes. A 375 degree temperature would also help with this.

Bread Pudding II

Amazing! This was my first time making bread pudding and the results were scrumptious! I made a few adjustments to this recipe for my own taste preferences, and added 10 minutes to the baking time. Thank you for a simple and wonderful recipe.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

This is a good and hearty recipe for pumpkin bread. It's very substantial. I halved the ingredients as I didn't need that many servings and added pumpkin pie spice for extra pumpkin flavor. Thanks for the recipe!

Pumpkin Pecan Biscotti

This is a good biscotti recipe, although it needed a few adjustments. I halved the ingredients as I didn't want or need 3 dozen biscotti! The dough was extremely dry and very hard to work with, so I had to add a bit of vegetable oil, additional vanilla extract and even a small amount of water to make it workable. I also added pumpkin pie spice to give it more pumpkin flavour. I'd recommend adding more than the recommended serving of pumpkin puree (try 1 cup); I think this would help with the blend-ability of the dough.
